Getting the most from my Defensive Ends - How To?

I want my defensive ends to mainly follow/attack the running back.  Which is a better strategy:

1) Give them the down arrow command (go for the ball carrier I think that gets assigned to most defensive linemen on the front line)
2) Give them the "R"" command that can be used to penetrate the line (or not) in pursuit of the running back.  This is the similar command as "watch linemen" (or something close).

Sorry the terms I am using are probably not the right ones :-)

The Game Won't Call I Play I Designed - Help :-)

Ok, here is my problem, when the opposing offense tried to convert a 4th down the defensive play I designed for it does not ever get called.  Instead the game chooses defensive plays (pass or run ones and not a kick return) that I have only configured for to run on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd downs and nothing in the AI is checked for 4th down, nothing at all, yet the game keeps using those plays over the one I designed.

how do the audibles work?

How do you call an audible when you run your team?
Are (and how often) the audibles calles during a computer run game?
On which criteria an audible is chosen (number of DL, uncovered WR.....)? Can you set in which situation an audible play must be run?
All these questions because I've never seen an audible being called during a game...

problem with pass blitz assignement

hi,
I'm trying to make my CB 'pass blitz' from his cover position (inside shade) but instead of being close to his receiver, he is placed right in between the DE and DT. However, he is well positionned if he's in the 'rush blitz' mode. On the practice field, you can drag a player before the ball is snapped: so I did correct  his position and it does make quite a difference (between pass and rush blitz mode). But on the next play and/or on the chalkboard, my CB is 'stuffed' again between the big guys. Does any one have a clue?

Looking for old teams

Hello,

I had played Playmaker Football 10 years ago with a version I have lost. This (Mac) version came with many teams as "Plague", "Vandals", "Spartans",... Today, I have the new Mac version and I would like to play again with these old teams... Does anyone have them or have an idea where I may find them?

Thanks!

Generic Playbooks

I have recently downloaded the windows version of PMFB to run a simple league with some friends, in which the GM aspect is accentuated through some out-of-software rules.

Ideally, I'd like the owners of the six teams to be able to choose from standard playbooks though - for example, someone who drafted a power run offence to be able to pick a "Run Heavy" playbook, while the guy who picked receivers and a pop-gun quarterback to have the choice of a "West Coast" playbook, containing suitable plays.
