It had been a while and I was curious about good old PMFB. So I got things rolling here to log in and get the latest Mac version.
Download and installation was OK, was waiting to register it, but wanted to see what was up.
The game runs OK, but I cannot open any Teams or PBs. And yes, I am attempting to use those provided in the PMFB for OS X version 2.4.
Then I went to the forums to see if there was any discussion, and the latest post was a year ago!
So, what's up. Has everything migrated to hand helds?

Anybody have a fix for error 225? My game copy lost the registration but Brian helped fix that. Now my .pmf files won't open in any module. I get error 225. If this cannot be fixed I will have lost the last six months of work on my 32 NFL teams -- updated players, new off/def for 2012 season, etc.

I'm using version 2.5 on OS 10.6.8.

The AI screen for an offense play "Yards" setting has "255" on the low end and "5" on the high end. For a defense play, it's reversed. Neither one will allow me to change the yards settings. If I click on the up/down buttons I just get some kind of beep.

The other AI settings can be changed.

Is there a fix?

I recently downloaded Playmaker and when attempting to launch it I get an error stating "The application PlayMaker football quit unexpectedly." Relaunching did not help and techs at Apple stated that the software developers would have to address. Anyone have a solution to this issue?

Anyone having trouble with PMFB v2.4 and Leopard 10.5? The Game module works fine, but Chalkboard Editor & Draft do not show up on my MacBook Pro. Oddly, I can apparently use all of the commands such as change the team color or load a play and check the AI, but I cannot see anything at all on the display. I do not recall whether these modules worked before I tried to load PMFB v2.5 (currently a waste of time) because the laptop & Leopard are new.

Does registering the Windows version of PMFB entitle me to register the Mac version too? The FAQ isn't clear about that, only the other way around (that Mac users can "sidegrade" to NT).

I was very happy to have an Os X version until I bought a MacBook. Seems that Rosetta (the emulator for softwares adapted to OSX on previous processors) does not like Playmaker Football! I have tried some tests without success. Any other experiences?

According to the manual you should use the [ and ] keys or the { and } kyes but I haven't got theese keys on my mac keyboard... so how do I slow the game speed down???

I've been using the new version since its release. I always play AI against AI. I've found that it works OK when run as the first program used following start-up, but if I launch it after doing something else, it loses the brief delay at the start of each play that allows you see the pre-snap sets -- it seems to run each play from just after the snap. It will drop this delay in the middle of some games, too, even it is the first program run. Also, the Chalkboard Editor shows a slightly different shade of green in the player box than on the field itself. Anyone else have this happen?

Are there any plans to release OS X versions of the playbook convertors?
