Playmaker Bowl

The USFA Champs, the Grimjacks will be facing off against the WFL champs the Rumrunners in the first ever Playmaker bowl.... the winner will be taking home playmaker swag!

There are rumors that other leagues want to get into the fray, and that there is a possibility of a playmaker championship series.

Re: Playmaker Bowl

I think we will officially call this the PlayMaker USFA/WFL Bowl.  There may be others as well.  As this reaches a point where we have 90% coverage, it may be appropriate to drop the league designations and just call it the PlayMaker Bowl.

Re: Playmaker Bowl

It appears we are drawing close to a APFL/SPMFBL championship game also.  One would hope that some of the other leagues would try to reach out to each other to create championship games like this also.

From what I understand the EFL and UFL rules are very close to each other, but I gather that personal problems between coaches will prevent this game.  I for one would hope that the betterment of the game and the spirit of competition would overide anyones personal problems.

As I believe the PFL is not active I"m not sure what other matchups are available, it would be great to hear from some of the coaches in the other leagues.

If you get enough leagues, why not a round-robin playoff system? Granted, with the wide variance of rules it would be a logistical nightmare...

The PFL is not dead, and season 24 is about to start. But it's down to nine teams and struggling.
The website used to be my responsibility, but I've been too busy with work and other RL issues
to keep it current.

Re: Playmaker Bowl

The PFL could get PMFB.net space, and it would be much easier to maintain the site.  It would be great to see an active site and have the PFL coaches interacting with the rest of the coaches on PMFB.net

Good to hear the PFL is still alive, would be great to know what coaches are still active.
