How difficult would it be to set up the program to do Canadian Rules?
Differences Include
-The Field size (length and width) are larger including 20 yd endzones.
-12 men on the field
-The Uprights are on the goalline.
-The single point from a punt, missed FG or a last play pitch and kick to tie.
If I am missing much, there are enough Canadians with PMFB to fill in the gaps. But does anyone have any idea as to how much additional effort it would take to draw this into the PMFB SIM as an option?
Same Q regarding US College football.
Thanks
Dennis Daigle
There are plans to offer a Canadian version (and College, Arena, etc.), but I think they will be offered as separate versions. On that note, is there a definitive source for the Canadian rules?

This might help.
CFL rules is a real good idea. College and Highschool rules are good ideas too.
The College rules will get the first use, as the NCFL is a college league and has wanted for seasons upon seasons to have it's own version.

P.S. Dennis, know where I can get a good canadian coach to come into the WFL?
A toggle switch for "NFL" (or "Pro") and "College" would be prefereable to seperate versions of the program. Those are the two most people wold want (sorry, Dennis).
Of course, more options are cool! Arena might be a whole barrel full of fun!
Yeah, a toggle switch like marshall said.

If you were wanting to charge for the different versions, would it be possible to have them together in one game with a toggle as others have suggested, but just have different registrations within the game to unlock the different versions?

That's a possibility. There's just a need to capture development effort to support the different interests and formats.
hey, I am brand new on here, this message got my interest. I see its been months since the thread ended, has there been any advancement in the way of college or arena or CFL rules? how about doing 8 man rules, 8 man football is played in small high schools here in washington state.
