On my ipad, if I make a mistake when creating a play, I wish to delete the last (mistaken) segment I have just defined. I do not know how to do this. All I can do is to select the player and issue the "cut" command. Then I have to define that player's actions all over again. How do I just delete a player's last "play" segment?
I'll give two examples to make this clear:
(1) I select the quarterback and draw a line to make him drop back 5 yards. Then I tell him to pause. Then I draw a line so that he moves to his right. Then I try to press the "pass" icon, but I accidentally hit the blocking icon by mistake. How do I delete the blocking icon?
(2) The same as example 1. Instead of trying to select the pass icon, I decide I do not want the quarterback to pause. I would like to delete last segment (the line) and again delete the last segment (now the pause). Can I do that? I WAS about to do it, when this game was on my Palm PDA.
By the way, I understand that Apple's "Pages" program has a "delete" function that is activated by shaking the iPad. I think that's a terrible idea, but I tried it on playmaker, and nothing was deleted.
On the PC, this function was called 'snip'. Unfortunately, it did not make it to the iOS versions. The proper feature would be an 'undo' by shaking as you suggested. Look for it in a future release.
Shaking the iPad to undo something is a terrible idea. It's a terrible idea in general on the ipad. If you have just typed the wrong letter or word, you want something as simple as an undo key to make a correction. Having to take the device in two hands and fiddle with it implies as awful interruption in one's chain of thought.
Now where was I? Oh, yes, put the thing down again and look at the screen...
